Andrea Bocelli in Singapore

Never thought I will have the chance or attend concert like this. As I do not follow classic music, I do not really recognise anyone of them, or know their songs. When Mak asked me if I know a blind singer, I told him I only know Stevie Wonder. Hahaha!

Anyway, we managed to get us tickets to attend the concerts at Bontanic Garden last night. I was told that the tickets were not for sale, so lucky of us, we can still go as a group. Kelvin, Nana, Queenie, Valenssa, Anita and Me.

We were told that it was an open air concert, picnic kind sitting on the grass, watching from the big screen. The Swan Lake area are where the guests seated with long gown and nice make up. (Ahem... I do not envy them actually. It rained heavily earlier and the weather was humid. Imagine long dress with heavy make up, open air with no air con... Don't think I will enjoy...)

Tried taking a picture using my camera, to see if I can capture something from the screen. Cool! Clear some more, but I know security staffs are standing everywhere to catch people from illegal recording, I kept my camera unless we took pictures of ourselves.

I was lucky that we found a spot directly facing the screen with no blockage in front. Haha! I was quite worried that the place will be too muddy to sit on. Just been too MayDay Concert in April, so I can foresee muddy grass, and hot weather. Fortunately, the place we seat on was not as muddy as we thought, though still very wet. Anita's mat saved all our butts. Haha! Singapore Bontanic Garden even provide KFC for all the people, and ice cream! Really having a great time at the picnic.

I thought I might fall asleep during the concert, as I mentioned earlier, I do not really appreciate Classic music. Other than 'Time to say Good Bye', I am not familiar of any other songs. Surprisingly, I had a great time listening to the flute performance, beautiful singing of Andrea Bocelli, and the whole orchestra. Maybe I should go and buy myself an Andrea Bocelli's CD and start listening. I might start to fall in love with Classic music.

'Time~~ to say Good Bye~~~'
