Babe For Life

All my friends know I am a fan of Taiwanese Band, 'MayDay'. I will only buy their CD and attend their concerts without any hesitation. So there is no reasons for me not to attend May Day '变形DNA, 无限放大版' last Saturday.

1. I received a sms from Yvan at 2am in the morning. She lost her MayDay Concert ticket!!! When I saw the sms, that was already 9am in the morning. Imagine, she must have searched the whole house till wee hours, and decided to send me the sms asking me for my details. According to her, if a ticket is lost, what is needed is just the transaction number from Sistic. They will have a record of what is purchased, and they will issue a replacement ticket at $5. However, the tickets I bought this time, was bought by a friend of mine. So there was no transaction number for Sistic. Poor Yvan has to search through the whole house again, never miss any corners or drawers. And she even made her way back to office and see if it was hidden in between files or in the drawers. Finally Sistic agreed to issue a ticket for her, if I can bring all the tickets to prove that I really did buy the tickets.


2. It started to rain heavily in the afternoon. So we were all praying hard that it will stop asap, so we can all attend the concert without getting wet. It stopped after a few hours, but I heard the heavy rain damaged quite a lot of machines on stage and the Transformer Robot they brought over from Taiwan. All the staffs tried to repair the machines, causing the concert to delay for one hour. We queue for so long outside the Stadium, but we can only start going inside at around 7pm, by then, the quene was like s super long snake wriggling outside. And on the ticket stated, concert will start 7.30pm. Next the Transformer could not move as programmed. However, it never dampen our spirit. because all of us still love the concert!


3. Due the heavy rain, the field became so muddy. And seats are all wet. And based on the design of the stage, we have to walk a super long way from the gate to our seats. Fortunately, I was wearing slipper that night, but most of my friends wore flats. So their shoes simply became so muddy and wet! Imagine watching a concert with soaking muddy feet covered by muddy shoes. Erke!!! How to enjoy??? I dare not jump and dance as what I did in previous concerts, but only stand at a certain area throughout. When i left, I saw my footprints on the floor.


4. Though it rained in the afternoon, the night is still so hot! Everyone was busy fanning ourselves when we were not swinging our hands in the air. Everyone felt so sticky and hot, and there were no wind that night. I noticed that there were big fans at the side, but WHY NEVER SWITCH THEM ON!!! Wonder why they placed the fans there, but never switch on, Then put there for what!!! The shredded papers which were sent flying to us, seems not romantic anymore, It dropped onto our bodies, and sticked on to us! We were so sticky and hot and the papers were causing itch... Even MayDay commented that they sorted of regretted to have their concert outdoor because it was so hot!!!



5. The best part was there were 2 big group having concerts at the same area, MayDay in National Stadium, and S.H.E in Indoor Stadium. Frankly speaking, 15,000 people to MayDay, 8,000 to S.H.E, everyone to go there was a big challenge. Fortunately, the circle line to Indoor Stadium started on that day, so there was a new way of transport, instead of bus and taxi. Then leaving the place was another challenge, because we have 2 hugh groups of fans leaving together. Even though concerts ended at a different timing, but the amount of fans leaving were still a problem. We managed to leave around 12am after calling in for a cab.

Overall, I must say, it was a Fantastic concert, despite of all the frustration. All of us had a great time! Will wait for them to come again! We are all waiting!!!

This week is Secrteary Week, Li Ching bought every admin staffs a sunflower. So sweet!

Saw this on a friend's Facebook update, and I find it very funny. Decided to share it with everyone here.

My friend is a teacher, and this happened in class today.

Gal A : U have bread?
Gal B : I have chicken pie.
Teacher : U dare to eat in my class?
Gal A : No. 面包！面包！
Gal B : 面包？
Gal C : Aiyah! I have lah. (Passed her a white package)
Teacher : ......... Can you girls don't do this in my class!!!

皮肤问题常给我麻烦。医生给了我一些药丸与药膏用。我只能说，药力还真强啊！早上一粒， 晚上一粒。特别的是，吃了会昏昏沉沉。不过，这药超级有效！我的皮肤不再发痒，也不会红红肿肿了。

吃了四天，我真的昏昏沉沉过日子。药性超强，早上吃了，我还去上班。途中，我在巴士上睡着了。然后，一整天，我一直提不起精神。要吃30天呢。这次，不知道要如何过。

好累...

只听过飞机delay, 从来没听说过，电影也会delay的。

昨晚，我看了台湾现在最火红的一部电影，艋舺。据说，天气关系，飞机延误，导致两位男主角与导演严重迟到，让电影足足延迟了一个半小时。当下，还不知道该不该相信。大家都等太久了。 不过，看了电影后，我只能说，等待是值得的。虽然我已经等累了，想睡了，一度想放弃而回家去。

阮经天与赵又廷，本人还真的很帅。我的朋友们个个为他们的帅气倾倒。而我，眼睛却忙的很. 我一直望着钮承泽。导演真是超man的！

这部电影大致描述1980年代台北市1980年代臺北市「艋舺」地區黑幫兄弟與慘綠少年們的愛恨情仇。 参与演出的除了上述的3位以外， 还有大家熟悉的陈汉典，王识贤。

每位演员都有亮眼的表现。印象最深刻的就是陈汉典。陈汉典少了昔日的搞笑，演出恶霸，欺负新转学来的赵又廷。他的表现不输两位男主角。虽然，出镜率不多，最后还残死，他还是让人留下很好的影像。

阮经天饰演的和尚，眼神里，俏皮中带着杀气。演一名聪明绝顶的高中生。从小， 被相士算出，生来就有兄弟命。所以，父母就让他跟着黑帮老大。自小，与老大的独子， 志龙（凤小岳饰）一起长大。天生聪明伶俐，奖状挂满房间的墙壁。志龙很依赖和尚。什麽事都问和尚的意见。捅出的篓子，全是和尚在扛。我觉得，和尚对志龙，产生了爱的感情了。因为，感觉上他的表现已经超出，只想保护老大的儿子的责任了。当我跟朋友说出我的感觉时，他们都说，哪里可能？他们是黑道哩！天啊！黑道也是人，为什麽不可以有gay? 我还觉得，他一定会出卖大家。因为他太精明了。

赵又廷的表现也可圈可点。加入黑道，就为了一只鸡腿。对！你没看错。就是为了一只鸡腿。他就像戏里的名字一样，蚊子，不起眼，但发威时，会‘叮人’。他混的，不是黑道，是友情，是义气。视其他四位兄弟为重要的人，最后，却被自己认为最重要的人，开枪射伤。生死未卜。

剧中，有很多好笑的戏级和台词。有一场很多人的大斗戏。据说，除了原本的演员，其他都是真的‘兄弟’。可是，在大荧幕的一个角落，我们都看到两位先生在‘摸鱼’。他们在互打，却一点力量也没有。只是假装挥拳。超好笑！如果，有去观看电影的话，这一幕，大概在赵又廷加入黑道，没多久的一小段。荧幕上，左边上面一点点。

有些台词，我觉得还蛮好了。

- 五根手指合起来，才会变成拳头。（团结力量大）

- 我混的不是黑道，是友情，是义气。（其实，只是寂寞，有人在身边了解你，比打架，抢地盘还更有意义）

黑道电影通常不会有好的结局。但是，虽然知道如此，我还是举起两个大母指，推荐给大家。血腥的画面其实不多。剧情紧凑，不托泥带水。值得花钱买票来看。

Since Watsons is having offer, I want to buy a box to use it myself. However, I realised there are more choices to choose from. So Angela and I decided to buy 2 boxes each and then split equally. Like that, we will be able to try our all the range. My dear friend here said she does not know how to choose, so I told her, choose the kind you need to improve your complexion. Can be whitening or hydrating etc. She turned and replied me, '要变美.' Aiyoh! Of course lah, if not buy mask for what!!!

After that, Angela went online and searched if the price online is cheaper. And we found out there are other kinds of masks for this range too, but not all of them are imported to Singapore. Anyway, we placed order online and bought some more! Hahaha!!! Got to be more hardworking now, since we want to be 美女. Partly, ahem... I also not so young already. 天生丽质also can not be lazy, you see. Furthermore, my ultimate goal is to be a Babe for Life! Haha!

Hmm... This range are commonly found in Taiwan... Maybe I can ask Queency to help me buy and send them out to Singapore for me. Feeling excited now, because Angela had placed order for more masks! I can try new ones soon!!!
