Your keyboard spoilt?

Yesterday, when I walked past Lijun's seat, I saw this on her table.

I said, 'Oh dear! Lijun, your Enter key and Ctrl key came off har? Keyboard spoilt liao. How?' and I was thinking, must have pressed too hard already.
Lijun looked at me and burst out laughing. Then she ran to tell Niang Niang what I have said.
I turned around and looked at her keyboard and realised it is actually Black in colour.

It turned out to be a Card Reader. Haha.
Aiyoh. Never see before mah, pai sei.

新年贺词

忘了是在观看星和还是新传媒的贺岁节目时,看到了这广告片段, 害我笑到差点从椅子上掉了下来。

‘ 恭祝大家, 虎年如虎添翼,虎背熊腰!’

(Search from baidu)

Don't Play in the MRT!!!

On the way home after watching Hot Summer Love just now, I saw an incident which I simply can not understand. In the MRT, I saw a group of ang mo, about 8 or 9 of them together, they broad the train at City Hall. All of them are GROWN UP, yes GROWN UP. and they can come out with such stupid actions!
At Raffles Place Station, 4 or 5 of them were crowding at the door. Once the door opened, they ran out to the other side of the Platform, touch the door and ran back before the door of our train closed. One of them will take video of their 'Heroic' action. Oh gosh! Don't they know it's dangerous to play in the MRT? Use their butts to think also know this is an absolute NO NO and yet they are all GROWN UP!!! This was not all, they continue to do the same thing in the next few stations!
What if there is an elderly that can not react fast to the sudden speed towatds him and get knock down? What if an unwell person get knock down? What if they knock down a child who happen to walk ahead of his parents? Are they going to say 'Oh! I'm Sorry.' and that's it?
Is this fun??? If they want to play, go to a playground. They are so childish anyway. There are so many playgrounds in Singapore. Should feel ashamed of themselves. Stupid men!

Vanilla Cafe

Went to Mak's 29th birthday party at Vanilla Cafe on Saturday. The address is 3 Boon Tat Street, nearest MRT is Tanjong Pagar, in case you are wondering where is Boon Tat Street. I think that it is a very nice place to hang out with friends and laze the afternoon through. Just want to share with you, so you can have another place to go if you want.

Nice deco with these Japanese robots, cozy place to grab a book to read and enjoy your teabreak in the afternoon. The cafe closes quite late at night too. The smoothies are really good, but I forgot to take a pic of them to show you. Big glass and thick. Thumbs up for it.

Another thumbs up food from the menu are these mini burgers. They have different kinds of burgers to choose from,eg. beef, chicken, pork, egg mayo. It might look cute and small, but it's acutally very filling. We shared among ourselves to try the taste, and all of them are good. (Friends who tried the beef ones, said really nice. I do not take beef, so trust them! Haha.)

According to my friends, these gyoza are good. (As I was helping out at the party, I missed them.) Instead of the usual meat fillings we always have, these are actually prawns inside. It will give you an unique feeling, because meat fillings are what we have been having.

The cafe serves other finger foods like chicken wings, wedges, mashed pumpkin. Worth giving them a try too.

The staffs are quite friendly and they are very flexible with their arrangement. Mak requested to put up poster outside their cafe, which covered their main menu, and they are very nice to help us put it up too.

I will want to go back and try out all the food that I missed.

Yellow Flowers

Saw this tree when I came from my auntie's place today. Never realise that the flowers has bloom, everyday I have been rushing in and out of my house, failing to notice the changes that happen to my surronding. Maybe I should take this opportunity to slow down my pace and enjoy the nature around me.

团圆饭

We do not always have reunion dinner on Lunar New Year Eve. Either Auntie has to work till late that day, or my brother has to eat with Cocoa's family. This year is no expection. We have it 2 days before. And the same, steamboat like every year.

Looks sumptuous hor? I really love reunion dinner when everyone sit together at the table and eat. Though it's very hot and lack of space, we are having a good time.

I remembered one year, I had chicken pox 2 weeks before CNY. During reunion dinner, I had to restrict myself from eating certain food. You know, 爱漂亮, and heard too many stories on what kind of food will leave scars all over the face, I really stopped myself from touching all of them. My mum specially make a big bowl of soup with only sliced fishes and vegetables and placed it beside them. While they were happily enjoying the steamboat with all the fresh prawns, wantons, crab sticks and other tasty dishes, I just ate my vegetable soup and sliced fishes. Wa!!! You know that kind of feeling? Anyway, i managed to stay throughout. Really proud of myself. And heng heng, no scars. Haha!
From then onwards, I just eat what I want, and how much I want. Diet will come later. Haha!
Anyway, I wish everyone "虎年行大运! 虎虎生威! 心想事成!"
"Huat Ah!!!"

虎年新贺词

Adrian
真是称值得salesperson, who services APB!
